Illustrator and writer stef lenk hosts Maple Tree Day. At the launch of Inuksuk Journey, artist Mary Wallace will teach us how build our very own inukshuks. Marilyn Baillie will introduce us to a team of scientists who are working to save the most endangered species on the planet, in a powerpoint show based on her trailblazing book, Animals at the Edge: Saving the World’s Rarest Creatures. – A This Is Not A Reading Series event presented by Pages Books & Magazines, Maple Tree Press, Bunch and The Little Paper.

Wallace is a teacher and facilitator for interactive art workshops (including the University of Western Ontario, the Royal Ontario Museum, Art Gallery of Ontario, and the Ontario Science Center). She lives in St Thomas, Ontario.

She draws, reads, and is enamored with all manner of oddities and unmentionables. lenk drinks tea, weeps with little effort about any number of things, enjoys ice cream and has no pets.
